Application fees are temporarily being waived for Hong Kong residents in Canada who apply to renew their status to extend their stay in Canada.
Canadian citizens and permanent residents in Hong Kong and their immediate families can return to Canada at any time notwithstanding the general COVID-19-related travel restrictions, but they must meet all testing and quarantine requirements. The Canadian government is also expediting documents and family sponsorship applications for Canadian citizens and permanent residents in Hong Kong.
