About Express Entry

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) uses the Express Entry system to create a pool of candidates who may be eligible to immigrate permanently to Canada. Applicants under the express entry program are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System. People in the Express Entry pool having the highest-ranking scores at the time of invitation receive invitations to apply for permanent residency.
